Howard King is a corporate associate with Alexander Ricks PLLC, a leading midsized law firm in Charlotte, NC. Howard’s practice focuses primarily on corporate and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance transactions, joint ventures, and project finance transactions. He has represented closely held businesses, financial institutions, and investors in a wide range of domestic and international transactions. He received his B.A. from Louisiana State University and a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law. He joined Alexander Ricks PLLC after serving as in-house counsel to a global container port operator based in Dubai.
Among his civic and charitable activities, he served as Founder and President of Africa Initiative at LSU, an organization providing meaningful volunteer opportunities in Ghana. He also worked as an extern at the Special Court for Sierra Leone. Howard is the acting Secretary of the CIAS and is involved with several international organizations in Charlotte.
