Reinhard von Hennigs is the Managing Partner of BridgehouseLaw Charlotte. He was born and raised in Westphalia, Germany and spent much of his childhood in Hamburg and Kiel. He studied law in Heidelberg and Bonn, Germany, where he passed the state examinations. Mr. von Hennigs, furthered his legal studies at the McGeorge School of Law of the University of the Pacific in Sacramento, California, where he received an L.L.M. in International Business Transactions. After a clerkship in Berlin, Mr. von Hennigs was admitted to the bar in Germany. Subsequently, Mr. von Hennigs was admitted to the North Carolina Bar, where he currently practices. In addition to being a member of the North Carolina Bar, Mr. von Hennigs is also a Foreign Law Consultant Member of Georgia State Bar, and is also admitted to the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. von Hennigs’s practice primarily focuses on international commercial law, U.S. corporate law, dual citizenship, naturalization, and immigration law. He regularly consults with German and American clients on international legal disputes and legal matters.
In addition to his role as an attorney, Reinhard von Hennigs regularly publishes articles on international legal matters, comparative law, liability and international business. Mr. von Hennigs’s articles have been published by both US and German universities, the Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the German American Chambers of Commerce.
